Earn USDF University Credit at DressageTrainingOnline.com
Lexington, KY (October 8, 2009) - The United States Dressage Federation (USDF) and DressageTrainingOnline.com (DTO) are pleased to announce that they have now expanded their partnership to allow USDF members to earn USDF University Program Credit through the DTO site. By working together, USDF and DTO hope to provide dressage education to a broader audience and recognize those individuals who continue to expand their dressage knowledge.
Any USDF member, who is a current member of or joins DTO, is eligible to earn USDF University credits. Once logged in to the DTO site, members simply need to access their member administration panel and click "Add Educational Credits." Once this is done, members can begin earning their credits for USDF University Diplomas from the comfort of their own home or barn.
"USDF is thrilled to be able to expand our online educational offerings to include video programs," stated Kathie Robertson, senior education programs coordinator.
"E-Learning is certainly the way of the future. I am so pleased to be able to incorporate the USDF's University Program into the DTO Web site. With people's busy lives, the ability to watch videos from the convenience of their own home, to work towards their goals of improving their riding or moving closer to accreditation certificates/diplomas, watching at a time that makes sense for the individual and removing the cost of travel is helping to make our desires more attainable. Now members can earn credits, while watching and having access to our library of over 400 dressage training videos. In the future, we will host many federations E-Learning programs, across the globe, with the intent of cross-federation sharing of programs, this is really paving the road for ultimate learning access no longer boxed by geographical boundaries!" added Reisa Bonetti, founder of DressageTrainingOnline.com.
The purpose of the USDF University Program is to provide recognition for USDF members who strive to continue their dressage education through their participation in USDF educational programs and to provide an accreditation structure for independently-organized events. As members participate in more educational programs and increase their University credits, they move up through the levels of recognition from a USDF Certificate to a USDF Diamond Diploma.
